Need Opinions

It just occurred to me that the "You are my sunshine" art that I wanted might not be right for twins, because it is singular (only sunshine). But it would be dumb to have them change it to "sunshines" right? Or am I just overthinking this?

Here's the art again.

Let me know what you think.

  1. What if they changed it to "lovely sunshine" instead of "only"?

  2. I like Kiara's suggestion, but since sunshine is made up of lots a individual rays, I don't think it needs to be changed.

  3. I struggled when singing the song to my kids after having more than one. For my first I sing "my oldest sunshine", then for my second I sing "second sunshine", and for the youngest I sing "youngest sunshine". I'll have to change it when this one arrives as the youngest LOL. As for the art, it probably isn't a huge deal since they are little, but I probably would change it or go without just because it would bother me. Most people probably wouldn't though. And it depends on how long you keep the art too. You may have more kids someday... If I were to use it, I would probably change it to "favorite sunshines" or even "lovely sunshines" like pp said. But I do overthink things, so it really probably isn't a big deal!

  4. Thank you so much for your opinions, ladies! I think I might skip this one, and use one with "Look at the stars, look how they shine for you," which is from Coldplay's "Yellow" and was mine and Blue's first dance song at our wedding. And "You" can be plural. Or I might just have my sister-in-law do some custom art. It makes me a little sad since that art was one of the big inspirations for me, but I guess that doesn't necessarily mean I need to use it.
